1:3. ನಾನು ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಪ್ಪದೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾಸ್ತುತಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಪೂರ್ವಿಕರು ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು ಆತನಿಗೇ. ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದದ್ದೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವುದನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಆತನ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
